Outpatient Therapy
Activities designed for the purpose of reducing maladaptive behaviors, maximizing self-control, restoring normalized psychological functioning, reality orientation and/or emotional regulation and re-motivation thus enabling improved functioning and more appropriate interpersonal and social relationships. This includes psychotherapy, brief solution-focused therapy, and DBT skills therapy. Outpatient Therapy services are provided by master level prepared clinicians. Licensures may include Counseling, Psychology or Social Work.
Outcomes are individualized, including reduction in harm, movement through the stages of change, changes in type, frequency, and amounts of substance use or psychiatric symptoms, reduction in ER visits, improvement in specific disease management and coping skills and treatment adherence.
Admission Criteria:
- Individual is 18 or older
- Individual resides in Jackson or Hillsdale County
- Individual has a Severe & Persistent Mental Illness, a Severe Mental Illness, a Co-Occurring Disorder
- Medicaid Insurance only
